Is there an easy way to remove ceramic tiles. I'm attaching mine with hammer and chisel and the moment and it's gonna take a long long time. Time which I haven't got. It's not an option to tile over the existing tiles, as the kitchen is going through a complete refurb. The hammer and chisel method means they are breaking up and flying all over the place. Help Me!

My favorite method is to forget the chissel. Just smash them straight in the face with a club hammer. They smash to bits and come off in no time. A quick skim with bonding to make good the dents in the walls. You can get an entire bathroom done in about an hour!

BTW, don't use this technique if they are mounted on plasterboard.

Seriously, it's easy, quick, no messing but wear goggles and gloves, the shards can be seriously sharp.

Go for it. It makes the job so much more enjoyable too. Hic..
You'll love it. :).

Do remember those goggles and gloves. I'm no whoos, but this is one job where I use them.
