Shortly going to be retiling the kitchen and dining room, this time with UFH (Warm-up loose wire kit). I have seen some other pointers, and picked up some tips.
The kitchen already has 300x300mm tiles down, on top of bitumen. The dining room is now bare bitumen after taking up the worlds cheapest laminate flooring.
Do i have to take all the kitchen tiles up? Could i just lay 10mm ply in the dining room to a) match the floor level and b) create a little insulation, then lay UFH and tile on top?
