Would i be right in thinking that mosaic tiles are the best bet for tiling around the sloping shower to the drain onto a shower tray/former? I ask as i realise that larger tiles would need cutting to form them possibly leaving sharp edges in the shower base, and i don't mind mosaicing the entire floor anyway as they would be less slippery than larger tiles.

Many thanks.

You can do. If your drain is in the centre of a symetrical fall...for example a square with the drain in the middle and four equal fall surfaces draining to it, you could also use bigger tiles but laid diamond.
Each of the four surfaces would then become its own floor.

Mosaics are normally the easiest way though

That's excellent, thanks for your reply and confirming my suspicions.

just ensure when using mosaic that you grout it fully and seal them(if needing sealed)..if your using other tiles you will just cut them in an "envalope" to the tray former.
