Hi guys - wondered if I could have some advice, Im tiling the bathroom floor and theres a tile which I have to cut an L shaped one with two 90 degree cuts, I only have a manual tile cutter, is this possible because whenever i make the cuts then go to snap the tile it breaks in half - Do i have to position the tile differently becasue of the two cuts?

I know this would be easy with an electric tile saw but dont have one - wondered if anyone could give me some adive

Cheers

You can only snap in one direction, If you don't want the cost of a wet cutter then you can buy various blades to fit a hacksaw or jigsaw that will be OK for ceramic tiles, if they are porcelain then diamond disc in an angle grinder or wet cutter is the only way.
