Tiling Base

Hope someone can help me quickly.
1. Iam retiling a small area round a kitchen sink. I removed the old tiles quite easily but in a couple of small areas (approx 6" square) the tiles have brought off some patches of plaster which will need filling before I can retile. Could I use some of the tile adhesive to fill in these areas (I am using a flexible powder adhesive) If not what should I use & should I use PVA first ?

2. What is the best stuff to use to seal between kitchen worktop and tiled wall ? silcone which always seems to go crappy after a short time and start coming away during cleaning or acrylic sealant which someone told me is better ?

Best to use a one coat plaster.

& should I use PVA first ?

No.

Sanitary sealant.
