am about to get this job underway. however i have read something about universal bonding agent. is it necessary to put this on walls prior to tiling. i have never used it in the past (some time ago for my last tiling job)
 
PVA/water 50/50 needed to seal the surface underneath. Stops the adhesive moisture being sapped into plaster etc.
