tiling newly skimmed wall

im tiling newly skimmed wall, how long do i have to leave the plaster to dry and will i need to give it a coat of anything to seal the new plaster,

Once it looks dry you should be good to go. If it's just a skim coat it shouldn't take long (especially in this weather). If there's a recently plastered base coat (bonding, browning) then i'd be inclined to leave it longer. If it's just skim and it looks dry after a week then I'd say go for it. If there's a recent base coat, it might take up to a month before it looks dry (especially if you are bathing in there.)
Follow the instructions on the adhesive as regards primers.
