I've just had a shower tray installed but the plumber left the protective film on it and siliconed that to the shower walls. Before the tiler comes in should I remove that sealant, try to get as much of the protective film off the tray and then re silicone. I don't understand the point of siliconing the film to the walls. Any advice appreciated.
