Two of the bathroom walls I'm going to be tiling have several layers of emulsion paint on them. I've taken off what's loose and flaky but most is stuck on v tight and seems would be v difficult to get off. Can I tile straight onto this paint ? I read something on a tile manufacturer's website about scoring the emulsion first - has anyone tried this ? Any suggestions/recommendations very welcome. Thanks !
