Tiling over dunlop waterproofing kit

I'm looking to tank my new shower with dunlop waterproofing kit prior to tiling with mosaics

The dunlop waterproofing kit instructions say to only tank the first metre of the shower and I'm concerned that once the mosaic tilings have been put on to the tanking then a "lip" will show where the tanking finishes and the plaster starts.

Has anyone had done this and had this problem?

the tanking 1 meter is only reccomended, but if you feel that its so thick it will make a difference, you could either tank the whole wall, or use a mil more adhesive where its not tanked on that wall.
