Hi, I'm helping my brother-in-law with his kitchen, he has one wall with the old fashioned laminate wood effect wallboards which he wants to tile over, could anyone please advise me of any "primer we could use to ensure the adhesive will actually stay adhered to the wall and not drop off two weeks later.

Thanks

Not a good idea then.......I can tell with the overwhelming response to my question
Thanks

Hi,DennisLS. You are right. Not a good idea. This kind of wallboard is certainly no good for tiling onto.It is thin.Very flexible, and tiles wouldn't stay on very long. If it was me,I would take it off and tile onto the wall. You know it makes sense.
