Happy new year all, I am just about to start some work on our old bathroom and have a couple of questions !

1. The floor is wood (planks) and i was going to make it secure then
cover it with marine ply and add electric underfloor heating along with ditra mat and then flexi grout , is this okay ? (tiles are travertine)

2. The bath side is going to be also tilled and there is a box section at one end, again marine ply , then tile ontop, or tile backer board and then would i need to skim over if using either ply or tile backer ?

Thats it for now, thanks in advance

Your floor set up sounds ok, make sure you fix your ply with screws no more than 6inchs apart, so the floor will be stablised.
I would stick tiles to the bath panel with 'Stixall' or 'Sticks Likes Sh*t'. Both are available from a builders merchants or Screwfix......
