Tilting laptop

Hello everyone,

Mr Nervous here again. I have a new notebook. I find it easier to use the machine if I tilt it about 10 degrees toward me. Will this adversely affect the onboard cooling system? I use a thin length of wood and make sure it does not cover the vents.

No, it will actually help as the air circulation is improved underneath.

You can get feet like these, which do a similar job.
