Tim-Tams

Yep, sure is. Been to both countries and of course, had to sample the chocolate :-)

Germany reckon they make good chocolate, I have to disagree. I don't like it.

British, Belgian and Swiss for me.
Tried American, French, German, Australian and even a bit of Russian once. All horrible compared to our own and those others I mentioned.

Norwegian chocolate is quite nice - lots of milk in it.. Similar to the stuff you used to be able to get in Ikea.

I brought back some Tamtams for a Canadian friends daughter when I stopped over in Vancouver on the way home from Oz. She thought they were amazing when she was in Australia and really missed them when she finished her year there. She was brought up on American chocolate so probably were amazing to her. We've been spoiled in the UK with Cadbury :)

Mainstream American chocolate is disgusting, how anyone can eat a Hershey bar is beyond me.

Quite agree. Was offered one once and one bite was enough to convince me it was disgusting. If I remember if was called 'something' and cream. The taste was indescribable.

Did you try Australian Cadbury?

In America you only need 10% of the bar to contain chocolate liquor for it to be defined as chocolate whilsts its 20% in the UK.

Hershey chocolate is deliberately flavoured with a chemical that smells of baby-vomit. Americans who have been eating it all their lives are used to it and (seem to) like it.

The first time I tried some I found it revolting, as did my European companions, and we threw it in the bin.

You may think I'm joking or exaggerating.

I'm not.
