Ok so I have almost finished my base. Need to insulate shortly. Plan was following

1) celotext or polystyrene between joists 80mm celotext or double for poly. I read poly is cheaper and doesn't deteriorate like celotex. Maybe I should use poly what's the disadvantages?

2) after installing insulation lay a dpm over top of base.

3) lay 18mm shuttering ply to cover whole of base.

My other question is I'll b screwing the ply to the joists so in effect puncturing lots of holes in Dpm and I need a barrier to stop ply getting damp from beneath. Is there a better solution? Thanks
