Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has experience of installing timbers under a bath to stop creaking?

My bath 'creaks' when you stand in it to shower, I was thinking maybe the most effective way to help this would be to have timber supports under the bath ontop of the chipboard flooring and floor joists.

Does anyone have any similar experiences? Or any other suggestions on how I could combat the creaking?

Regards

Callum

the chip board flooring has probably given up the ghost ,it doesn't last for ever
get someone to stand in the bath and move around and watch wat is moving around and pack it up try and get something supported by the joists for the best result other than that ,its rip out and start again
