Long time lurker and now planning a project !

I'm intending to lay 28m2 of engineered wood into lounge and adjoining dining room.

Plan is use floating floor on Timbermate Excel underlay as the floor is on a 1990 build concrete floor.

My question is do I need to order some Vapour Tape to seal the strips of underlay together - or does it come with "sticky" overlaying edges 0 otr does it come with the Vapour Tape included ? ?

I've received conflicting info so would be gateful for some wise counsel

Many thanks :)

you buy tape seperate. Yes you should use it also but as your subfloor should have a working dpm you wont normally need it. However it would be good practise to use it! You can also use a water proof duct tape.
