Time entry on front door (zone1) - No Tone - Accenta G3

Hi All,

I have been trying to change the programme for my Accenta G3 as on entering through the entry route there are no entry beep tone.

So I thought that Prog 9999 Prog, then 1.4.01, reset x4 would solve it but it hasn't.

Any ideas?

Has the sound just stopped working ?
Is it a door contact ?
Does the zone 1 light up when door is open after entering code and the zone light go out when door closed ?
If so could be faulty speaker ?
If zone 1 light does not light up then could be faulty/sticking door contact.
Just tap the contact on the door frame with a screwdriver handle to see if contact is sticking

The strange thing is that the sound and exit door are fine on setting the alarm.

Yes the zone 1 does light up when door is open after entering code and the zone light goes out when door closed

Are you saying that the alarm will set when you leave the house ?
When you enter the house the alarm goes off ? No entry peep just full alarm?

On exit the alarm is set as normal

Then on entry, no entry peep and no alarm. However, alarm activated if you don't turn alarm off and walk in front of the PIR sensors

If you leave door open when you set alarm does it set ?
Could be sticking contact ? Give the contact a tap with screwdriver handle on door frame.
Could also be a cable fault from door to panel ?

Prog9999 prog1.4.01 will change entry time to 10 seconds
Prog9999 prog1.6.1 will change zone 1 to timed entry zone

Replace the door contact, it's faulty.
