I have one of these to control the heating upstairs and a similar version to control the hot water cylinder. Annoyingly, the time needs correcting every couple of weeks as the clock falls behind the actual time. Is this a known issue and does anyone have any advice on the matter?

On a positive note, it automatically switched to BST this morning!

Good evening,

You haven’t actually stated which model, but it could be a battery issue?

Thanks.

Hello,

Here’s a picture of the model. I thought it was mains powered?

Aha!
Yes, I can now see the battery compartment. Thanks so much.

Out of interest, what else do the batteries effect as they’ve not been replaced for 3 years? I had assumed that everything was wired-in

Update: having replaced the batteries (with Duracell), I have checked the time again and it is already 3 minutes behind. This is approximately 4 weeks since I corrected the time. Any suggestions please?

I was wondering if anyone had any advice on this please. The time has drifted 7 minutes behind in 3 months.

Dont think there is anything you can do to repair it, so its replace it or put up with it

Will a replacement fix the issue or is this a known/inherent issue?

They did suffer from faulty screens at one point, but that is not your issue, the screens went blank or were only showing partial characters, havent heard of one running slow as you say
