Time taken to install ind. cylinder and fully commission

4-6 hours deals with most systems, including those that don't want to empty and/or fill.

It takes 6-8 hours when changing a cylinder that was previously installed by someone who "always" does it in 4 hours.

I shouldn't complain - most of my work involves putting right those things that some idle or incompetent f**ker did wrong in the first place.

I,ll go back to the six hours and be happy with the weigh in aswell :) Thanks for the replies :)

I'd take a day!

Me too chris I am a bit slow with the blow lamps these days

:)

Also if you are replacing a gravity Cyl dont you have to at least whack a tap stat on it to conform to part L??

We do and they can be sods they can, glad I dont do the cyl changes Tee hee.

Also we do notify CORGI (our CPS provider) after we have fitted and open vented cylinder.

I think the girl saw it on the drop down list once and now does it for every one we do, I have no idea whether you are meant or not but belt and braces dont hurt I suppose

:)

I've got that available on my drop down list, strange as I haven't the CPS scheme for plumbing :?
