Hi,

I'm new to this but hopefully someone can help.

I have a Biasi Prisma 24S Boiler and the Timer switch has packed up. This is the old style with the push in pull out pins on to set CH times on/off.

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement and are they relatively simple to fit yourself?

Thanks

Has it stopped turning?

Have the little pins fallen out?

If its just the slide switch broken we keep that part in stock to repair the unit.

The whole unit is about £80 but is quite easy for a competent person to change.

The unit has stopped turning automatically. Revolves if you do it by hand but that's not much use.

A cheaper alternative is to fit a programmable thermostat instead.

The thermostat should be a two wire type already.

You just wire the programmable type in place of the existing room stat.

You can also wire it in series with the existing one too.

Never allow any mains voltage to the thermostat connections. But they are at mains voltage so isolate boiler first.

Or wire it in parallel with the existing one. Some people prefer this arrangement when they have problems operating the prog stat and just want something to turn to bring heating on.
