How are they measured and /or named and numbered?

I have an old wooden camera with bellows that is pretty much a decorative item due to age/condition.
some screws are missing. (Brass)

I would say they are more doll’s house size than a general wood screw
any idea where to look for similar? Terminology?

They are countersunk and round head , brass 1/4” or 1/8”

thanks

Try Googling for "No.1 brass wood screws" or "No.2 brass wood screws".

Nettlefolds went down to #0000 (1.37mm shank), although the smallest I can recall ever seeing were #00s used to repair a music box

There's a gauge chart here and the company (The Vintage Screw Company) are a useful source for old screws used in restoration

Note that Nettlefolds sizes aren't always the same as American sizes, especially on the really small sizes, and for sizes above about #16 (where the Americans tend to quote thread sizes in fractions of an inch)

You find oddments on ebay

Including jewellery box and dolls house hinges and screws.
