We have an internal soil stack in our house installed about 25 years ago. I'm doing the bathroom and the waste boss and tee for the toilet are both a little too high to give me a comfortable amount of fall. Those parts are solvent welded and I cant get access to cut a little lower and add new fittings (comes up very snug between 2 floor joists.) Below there is the downstairs toilet and I can see that the stack from upstairs enters a push-fit. So if I can separate that push fit, that gives me options (push the stack up so I can get access to cut off old fittings and add new slightly further down, or just trim a bit off the bottom of the pipe and reinsert)

So TLDR; I was just after tips on how to neatly separate this 25 year old push fit so it can be reused without leaking
