Changes to internal soil stack

Hi

I'm hoping someone can confirm that the changes I'm planning to make to my internal soil stack meet regulations.

The existing stack has an offset in the floor void of the 1st floor of my property. The upper section leads up to an AAV in the loft. There is a toilet connected to one of the branches at the offset.

I'm wanting to move the existing toilet connection so that it flows into the top of the lower part of the soil stack. Is this allowed?


The top of this lower section of the stack is capped by a (Terrain) solvent weld end cap. As I'm expecting not to be able to remove this cap, I'm planning on cutting away the very end of the cap itself, leaving the collar inside the top of the stack. Can I then use something like a McAlpine push fit connector to connect the pipe from the toilet to the stack?

Is there a better way of doing it?

Cut the cap off completely, providing you have enough pipe left, then just put a standard coupler on it, and go from there.

Sadly not. The cap is fitted directly into the top of the branch section so I think cutting the cap is my only option.
