Hi

Got a Titan LP1200 oil tank but no gauge to measure the level of the tank. Oil supplier charges a fine if he cant get the minimum order of 500 litres in on delivery, and I need to get the tank full before the weather sets in, dont want to have to fill up in the middle of January!

Does anybody know how to make a marked gauge stick to dip the tank with to check how many litres are left, we have one for the diesel tank at work with a calibration chart but I cant find instructions on how to make one for the LP 1200.

Thanks

Can you not calibrate a broom handle in the wilds of Argyll?? Nick the wife's when she's not looking.

Calibration details;
Half full tank 600Ltr.... :o
Empty tank 0Ltr..........
Full tank 1200Ltr......... :D

A bit out of date but I have the calibration chart for Titan tanks and the L P1200 is as follows:
65mm 75 litres
100 175
165 275
210 375
255 475
300 575
345 675
400 775
455 875
510 975
565 1075
635 1175
710 1275
815 1360.
