Need advice. I've ordered some oakwood folding doors and been reading up on how to finish them.
I asked the supplier and they recommended Sadolin extar durable varnish. I've used this before and found that it wears really poorly and dont really like the finish - i'm after a more natural finish. I would prefer to leave the wood untreated or with linseed/tung oil.
The doors will be hung in the NE of England in a fairly sheltered area and the roof will have an overhang
Anyone got any ideas?
