Hi All,

Our Barely 6 month old toilet which is a Ideal Standard Tempo with a 6/4L cistern has a problem. When you flush the toilet the cistern empties but when the flush mechanism shuts off it makes a real clunk. Does anybody have any ideas what the cause could be.

That's the 5mm thick yoga mat to stop condensation on outside of cistern which works a treat. Our old cistern used to drip with condensation.

For everybody's info it turned out the two long prongs on the lid push button had unscrewed and were resting against the flush unit with the lid on so when one of them were pressed the water emptied, valve closed and the clunk reverberated up the prongs to the lid and made the noise a lot louder. All sorted now.
