Hi my toilet flush seems to be passing. Once flushed, it doesnt quite shut off fully so the water still tops up the cistern, then into the overflow pipe and I can see it constantly running down the inside of the toilet bowl. Can I replace the flush valve without replacing the button or does it have to all to be replaced? Thanks

Yes you can.
Really easy to change the whole valve. Get a replacement off tinternet and work out how to separate the top assembly.
Alternatively identify manufacturers and get a replacement washer. It’s all child’s play.

If it is coming from the overflow pipe, then the problem is the inlet valve, not the flush valve. You can replace the inlet valve, although it may just need a new diaphragm washer.
