Can anyone help?

I have a toilet which to describe has a button in the middle o the top which you press to pull th flush and has no overflow. Sorry I am a noive, the toilet probably has a name but am not so sure.

Anyway the problem is that the toilet is constatly trying to fill up and water continually enters the toilet pan. This has only just started happening. Any ideas?

The toilet is going to overflow procedure

This is internal on this toilet hence the continuous water down the pan

Make sure flush buttons are not holding the flush mechanism down when not being pressed(adjustment to fix)

Ballvalve may be stuck,or faulty

Make sure the float is not touching the side of the toilet cistern and is free to move up and down

Also make sure nothing is sitting under the flush flap which sits at the bottom of the flush mechanism

by the way...Dont use in cistern toilet cleaners(ones that make water flush blue etc) as chemicals can react to the rubber flush washer
