Hiya, a normal toilet, nothing changed, always worked fine then this morning i noticed that it flushes, plenty of water, as it leaves the bowl seems to drop down too low, bit of a sucking airy sound, then leaves the water level far too low, finished. I dont know why it`d do this today. It was fine last night. Any ideas ?

Any help appreciated

Usually a partial blockage wicking or sucking the water away. If it doesn't get better by itself try a bucket of hot water, or three.

Right its over 24hrs later, ive poured los of buckets of hot water down there and its still not right. Its draining slower now. It drains completely but then drains TOO much and leaves the bowl with not enough water in. Its like the water is getting sucked out of the toilet leaving a very low level. Any ideas ?

cheers

Have you got any manhole/drain covers in your garden?

If so have a look in the chamber

Sounds like you have a blocked drain

Set of rods or call the experts
