Yes there may be lugs which need to be pulled out firmly, vertically. A bit like a keku fittingHow did you manage to remove the seat from the lid?
In my, limited, experience seats with blind hole fittings often simply pull/yank up- they often have a pin which is secured to the fitting in the pan. Once removed, you lift the metal cap and and you have access to the screw which secures it to the pan.

No fixings on the underside, I checked that first.take a picture from the underside at the rear (of the toilet) there has to be a fixing

There are two visible screws which hold the seat to the lid. I managed to unscrew these. Once this is removed you see in the picture what's left with the shafts. However then I tried to move it/pull it without any luck. Will try to yank vertically. Any idea on the make/brand of these? I can't seem to find this design when searching online.How did you manage to remove the seat from the lid?
