Toilet soil leak - what am I doing wrong?

The toilet was leaking from the seal of the previous swan neck pan connector. I replaced the connector (like for like) around a month ago and today I've noticed the same small leak from the seal around the connector. I've pulled the connector as far onto the toilet as possible and it's stopped leaking but I've got a feeling this won't last for long. Have I installed the connector wrongly when I replaced it?

Look ok imo. Is the pan loose?

Try a different type of connector as this may solve the issue. Possibly a flexible one may be suitable

The toilet spigot clearly does not enter the waste deep enough for a good seal.(which is why previous leaked). You can add one of these short connectors to get a better seal , toilet may need to move forward a few mm.
