Toilet waste and toilet problem advice

Hi all im currently getting my bathroom updated on my new house a friend is doing the work cheap. So basically he told me to order bath to replace the outdated one so i bought a full suite( nice surprise for him ). The problem is the toilet waste i will add pictures to help.

His advice isnt the best he normally fits in new builds and said there all the same so doesnt have a clue what would be the best way to proceed. think he would prefer me to get a new toilet but i like this one lol.

I suppose i have the choice of building a fake wall or creating a stepped bathroom any advice welcome im sure he would do anything i ask lol.

Not much choice with that pan as it sits tight against wall and your waste comes in from the side.
so really need a 4"+ false wall.
