Toilet Water Fills Up Slow

When we flush the toilet it takes like a good 10mins to fill up.

Any ideas how to fix it ,

DIsmantle the float valve which is probably full of scale. Stick a new washer in while you're there.


If it's still slow you may have the wrong "orifice" fitted. small, about 3mm, often red is for mains, and large, about 5-6mm, is for gravity supplies.

thanks i bought another washer and it worked.

I have another problem though and that is that the button for the dual flush thing isn't all the way up meaning that when you push down on the button there isn't enough force to fully make the toilet flush properly. It's just doing the weak flush constantly and the tank only emptys half way.

I need the button to be all the way up so I can properly push it down and flush it properly but it's just lodged inside with about 2-3cm to push down which isn't enough.

Any ideas?
