Hi there,

I have a quick question. I was planning to lay some luxury vinyl planks in one of my bedrooms, I have hardboarded the floorboards but there is still a little hills and valleys around the corners of the room. Is that going to affect laying the vinyl planks? What is the tolerance on flatness and evenness? Will be putting a 1.5mm underlay prior to laying the vinyl.

Many thanks

JohnD - No, there's no damp, it's just that the floor boards were wonky and warped, even after nailing on the hardboard there is still a slight dip (a couple of millimeters). Just wondering how much of a problem is it going to be when laying the vinyl planks.
I did wet the rough-side of the boards prior to fixing.

thanks
