Or just fit an inline fan in the loft, with a fancy (or not) grill above the above.

I prefer uinline fans in the loft as they are far quieter. They also are usually more powerful as they are mixed flow or centrafugal rather than the crappy axial fans.
 
Vent axia ACM100 or Vortice Lineo 100/125/150.

I prefer the Vortice :)
