Don’t even know what that is. Can you advise what I’m looking for.

I am not familiar with that boiler ,do you have a hot water cylinder ?
Filling loop maybe integral / part of the boiler, or remote.
If the latter look for a silver, braided, flexible hose . Near the boiler or hot water cylinder ( if there is one)

It’s a ground floor apparent so what she has is in the cupboard.

See photos please.

Those electric boilers have the filling loop inside the case. There should be finger grips either side of the lower panel, it just pulls off, filling loop is in there around the lower immersion, valve either end of the flexi hose. Very clear instructions in the MI.

Weirdly, came across one of them not a million years ago in a retirement home where gas wasn't installed/allowed.

Thanks Madrab.
Please see knew photo and advise which tap I need to turn to put water in boiler.

In my previous photos you will see the boiler pressure.

When the system is cold what should the pressure gauge read.

Once I let water out of the radiators I will turn the tap to fill up to the pressure you advise. Thanks.

Both of them need to be open to fill. Open one, then open the other slowly and you will hear water passing through, keep an eye on the gauge and pressurise from 1.2 > 1.5 bar. The red needle is set to 2 but that's usually when there is a slight weep somewhere and the boiler loses pressure over time.

When the system is on and gets hot, check that the pressure doesn't climb over 2.5 bar. If it does then the expansion needs checked.
