Torn felting

Hi my loft has felting but it's all torn and the loft is getting dirty and you can feel the wind blowing about . I've seen a product at wicks foil one side bubble wrap the other that is sold to be fixed to the roof and supposed to help if felt is torn , has anyone used this before and it is ok to use? Thanks

A windy loft is a healthy loft. The last thing you should be doing is fitting any of that shoite against the rafters.

If the dust is such a problem then staple a 'breathable membrane' on to the underside of the rafters.

What breathable membrane do you recommend and it this stuff bad to use then, why is that ?

A roof needs to breath to remove any moisture in the air, the product you linked to will trap all the moisture in your loft. Any cheap breathable roofing membrane' you can find on eBay will be fine.
