Hi, Ive just purchase a 5 x1kg bag of Toupret interior filler which has a date stamp on the exterior packaging showing 19 AOUT 2024.
Can anyone tell me what this signifies and also what the shelf life of this product is?
Thanks

Aout = August in French.

According to AI... "The shelf life for Toupret fillers is generally 12 months, but some products may last up to 24 months when stored in their original, sealed packaging, away from sunlight, frost, and extreme temperatures. Powdered fillers can last for a very long time when stored properly, while ready-to-use versions have a limited shelf life and can dry out. "

So if you plan to use it in the next few months I'd say nothing to worry about and it will probably also be fine next year.

Just looked at a pack of Toupret I bought a year ago. It's dated 10Avr24, so unless we both got very unlucky I'd say it was the production date.
