I hope somebody can help. I have a radiator in the bathroom which started leaking last night. I have switched off the valves both sides and stopped the leak for now until i can find where it is coming from. there is a brown trail coming from top to bottom but the leak came from behind the split paint at the bottom. Does anybody have any advise for me? many thanks....ps i am not very up to date with some plumbing terminology. :)

If the leak has now stopped, after closing radiator valves.
The likely cause is that the valves need tightening up.
So if you have some spanners, nip the joints up on the valve were the leak is coming from.

Sounds very much like you need a new towel rail. Also, you need to have your system checked, just to ensure there's not air getting into it & causing the rail to fail.
