Tower Hire for painting fascia boards

I have used one and they are very good, sturdy and enough room for yourself and kit needed, nice if you have a friend to move you around instead of keep coming down and moving the tower along

How high do you need to go and are you likely to need it in the future? You can buy a steel scaffold tower for not much more.
You'll need somewhere under cover to store it though

There is enough room for a paint kettle and brush, sandpaper, putty, knife and dusting brush and 1 person me thinks.
Does not moving someone around on a tower against health and safety rules on your own property ?

The regular hire price is £195 per week.

Scaffolding for a 5m wide house will be as little as £300 (cash in London [if you shop around]). It will also be faster (no need to move every 30 mins) and much, much safer.

It isn't safe practice and if there is an accident (say because one wheel goes into a pothole and tips the tower over, injuring the "surfer", or jolts the "surfer" off the top over the rail) then the person pushing the tower will potentially kop it. PASMA stronly advise against "scaffolding tower surfing" on their courses because of the dangers inherrent in it
