My daughter had Arnold Clark fit front parking sensors.

When she drove the car away, the sensor alarm kept sounding- in tyne end she switched it off

Now it has been in the garage for one week and they cannot sort out the problem. Last I spoke to the technician he wired the unit to brake light (do not see the logic there). Am told that the front sensors will need to stay off until they are needed to assist parking.

Can the learned folk here suggest a remedy please as to why the sensors keep bleeping?

Unit fitted is call Veba

Disconnect and get your car back ................

Then look into the possibility of one, incorrectly fitted or two, reducing the sensitivity of the sensors, usually an adjuster hole in the main connection box. But check with the supplier/manual.

Wiring them via the brake pedal means they would come on whenever you brake! I cant see the logic there.
A decent front kit is either switched on via a dash mounted switch or connected to the cars can wiring system so it self arms below a certain speed.
Get someone who knows what they are doing to fit them.
