Hi All.
Just replaced a TPMS valve on my daughters Ford Galaxy as the valve stem was leaking.
A Ford supplied valve was fitted by the tyre fitter but on driving the car, the dash is showing 1Psi for that wheel, despite it being inflated to 37Psi.
Is there a process to calibrate it?
Cheers All
Doug

I have now driven the car but the one tyre is still indicating 1Psi.
The tyre sensor app on the dash has been reset to remove the amber tyre warning light, but the 1Psi indication remains.
Am really annoyed now as my daughter will worry about it, despite her family having a 2nd older car which doesn't have the tyre sensors which they drive regularly.

I've seen online that sensors may need an electric gismo to set correctly?
So am dreading a visit to the local Ford dealer who will charge an arm and a leg to fix.

Has the tyre fitter no comment on this one, Doug?
Surely he will have seen this before.......maybe the sensor was a dud.
John :)
