for the past four weeks heating system has from time to time been making strange noises, and last night heard one of the pipes shudder and boiler stopped working. cannot turn boiler on as flame goes out when trigger is released, also cannot hear water being pushed round the system,please,please can anyone help,im cold

boiler make is TRANCOGAS 25/45 G.C NO41,898.29 about 25 years old

Try resetting the limit stat om the boiler.
