Just reading an snippet of info in this months Which magazine;
"The government plans to ban the manufacture of traditional light bulbs in an effort to get people to switch to energy-saving equivalents. Replacing a 100-watt traditional bulb will save electricity and knock around £6 off your annual bill"
Hope they remember to ban the manufacture of dimmer switches too......

how long has that sellers pack been proposed for again?

seriously they can **** arround with small groups with impunity but this is something that is going to seriously **** off a hell of a lot of people, i don't think the government will have the balls to do it.[/i]
 
as usual they havent thought it trough.

what will happen to electric ovens (the lamp) and for the fun of it car headlights

Not if, as is the vogue, that 100W GLS lamp is replaced by four of those fecking halogen downlights it won't.
