Transfer pix from Mobile Phone to a PC

Is this possible and, if so, what sort of a cable would I need please.
Lastly...is it easy!
 
Yes, connect phone to PC with regular charger USB cable, then when phone recognises connection choose the option to transfer files over USB, following which PC will then see phone as a folder, from which photos can be copied from DCIM folder
 
I often email pictures and documents etc to myself, wouldn't work with 100's of pictures mind!.

My (Windoze) PC also does it automatically, unless I tell it not to.

Best to create a folder for yourself so you can find the pics easily later.

I have one called Phonedump

And the subfolders called (e.g.) 22200424
