Transfomer help please

Hello,

We bought a light for our new dining room that my wife loved.

Then she flooded the bathroom and subsequently blew the transformer on the light.

We go the light from B&Q, I have removed the transporter and the model is a Hu Boi Long HTV160C1.

Hu Boi Long don't sell these to the public and I need to find a suitable alternative but I'm unsure where to start.

Can anyone help please?

Take the transformer along to Maplins electronics, they may be able to match it.

Or buy a whole new new light fitting. that may be the easiest option.

Rewire it to use a transformer outside the light fitting?

Then get any good make, e. IBL

Yes that is the one, been to B&Q and they have a 150W one which would work but it is too big to fit in the light housing.

Okay, I've found these two, there are stacks of others but dimensions are incorrect.....are either of these two suitable?

The light takes 12 x 10W bulbs, am I guessing correct that its possible a 150VA Transformer would suffice?

Yes 150VA (or 150W) will be fine.

The Eaglerise one appears to be an exact shape as the existing.
