Trapped air in radiator dead leg-Vaillant Turbo Max 824E

Hi

I have a Vaillant Turbomax Plus 824E boiler and while I was home last time I removed a radiator and capped the pipes under the floor. Every time I now turn on the cold tap and turn it back off again LED 3 (warmstart) turns on and a clicking sound is heard and the fan runs for a few seconds.

I sent an email to Vaillant and they said that the trapped air in the dead leg or a leaking tap washer could cause the problem but I thought the domestic cold water had nothing to do with the heating system.

Any help or advice would be appreciated
