Hi! I've just painted the door sill (the bit that you step on) on the front door and now I want to protect it. I've noticed that a couple of houses down my road have a piece of sheet metal wrapped and fixed around the door sill to do this - I think it's called a tread plate?
Anyway, I've had a piece of aluminium cut to size and was wondering how to fix it? I thought of using contact adhesive and screws? What do you think?
