My plans state I need to have a solid wall no cavity and insulation on the inside kingspan 55mm. I have laid the foundations but as the walls also need to match the existing 215mm can I use a trench block on its side ? I have some 440mm x 300mm x 215 any advice appreciated.

Sorry this is a single storey conversion of a stable building and I need to. Re build 1 end to match existing. My intention was to build all out of foundation/ trench blocks

Ask your building inspector? He's the one who you have to make happy!
